About

A Gladfield crystal (caramel) malt made by soaking, germinating and then heating the grain to crystallise its sugars, with an even roast in their purpose-built drum. Medium Crystal adds full sweet caramel flavour, body and a warm amber colour. It has no diastatic power, so use it with a base malt, and use it fresh for best results.
