About
Despite the name, Styrian Goldings is genetically a Fuggles cultivar grown in the Styria region of Slovenia, not a Goldings. It has a smoother, more refined character than English Fuggles — earthy and spicy with a touch more floral lift — and is widely used in Belgian, continental European and English ale styles. Buyers familiar with East Kent Goldings are sometimes surprised by its Fuggle-derived earthiness.
