Gladfield's dark roasted malt, with lovely coffee and chocolate aromas and a smooth roast character. Their unique moist-husk roasting limits the bitter, harsh, astringent notes that burnt husks create, so it is dark but light on astringency, a favourite for porters and stouts. Use fresh.
