About

A premium Weyermann pilsner malt made from the heritage Barke two-row barley — an older German variety prized for fuller, more flavourful wort than modern high-yield strains. It carries more pronounced malt character and higher extract than standard Weyermann Pilsner: rich, sweet, bready and faintly honeyed, with fuller body, while staying pale enough for light-coloured beers. The choice base when you want real malt presence under the hops or yeast.

Usage

Use as the base malt up to 100%. High diastatic power easily converts adjuncts and specialty malts. Shines where malt character matters — Helles, Märzen, Czech pilsner, Belgian golden strong and tripel. Pairs with noble hops and clean lager or Belgian yeast.
