The world's only Manuka Smoked Malt: Gladfield take the barley from their top Distillers Malt and smoke it in-house with 100% New Zealand West Coast Manuka wood. The smoke is smooth and overlaid with floral, sweet characteristics — a distinctly Kiwi take on the smoked malts used in old German styles. It can be brewed or distilled, and used anywhere from a whisper of smoke to the whole grain bill.

Usage
Fully self-converting base malt; use from 1% for a hint of smoke up to 100% for an intensely smoky beer (or single-malt whisky). Classic in Rauchbier and smoked lagers and porters; the floral Manuka note sets it apart from beechwood smoke.
