About
Bestmalz's flagship base malt: a very pale, highly modified German pilsner malt with a clean, lightly grainy-sweet flavour and ample diastatic power to convert a full grain bill including adjuncts. It is the default Continental base for lagers, pilsners and Kölsch, and a reliable equivalent to Weyermann Pilsner. Its neutral character lets hops and yeast define the beer.
