About
Bestmalz's Munich malt is kilned more deeply than their Vienna, developing rich, bready malt depth and a deep golden to light amber colour while keeping enough diastatic power to convert itself and a modest amount of adjunct. It builds the malt backbone of darker lagers and ales — Dunkel, Bock, Märzen — and can be used in large proportions, or in smaller additions to lend malt complexity and colour to paler beers.

Usage
Self-converting, so it can form a large share of the grain bill or be used at 5–20% for added malt depth and colour. Pairs naturally with pilsner and Vienna base malts; classic in Munich Dunkel, Bock and Märzen.
